"Made in the U.S.A."
A
long time ago "made in the U.S.A." would stand for integrity &
unsurpassed quality. But as we all know times have changed and the way
people
think about American made products has changed. More and more American
companies
have had to sacrifice quality for a better price in order to compete in
the
world wide market. Now that the economy in the U.S.A. is better than its
ever
been so is the U.S.A. quality. Better automobiles, better pricing.
Better
instruments.
Did you even know we made stainless steel instruments here in
the U.S.A.? Or surgical instruments? How about tweezers, scissors and manicure
instruments?
There is one company that lives up to old traditions of being
the best it can be. Yankee ingenuity is not dead, it is alive and thriving.
Bianco Brothers Instruments started in 1972 with a small
sharpening service in Brooklyn, N.Y. owned by Mr. John Bianco. He introduced his sons
to the business in 1982. They decided to start importing instruments for the
beauty industry and did very well for the next ten years. In 1992 they started
manufacturing these instruments in the U.S.A. due to the lack of quality in the
imported goods. Bianco Brothers first item was the European pusher for the
manicuring market.
Now for the new millennium the list of new items is almost
endless. Bianco Brothers is now a leading manufacturer for the beauty industry
(Hair, Nails, Skincare), also Podiatric, Surgical and Dental markets, Specialty
Medical and even
has it's own Fishing lure.
Scissors for the hairdresser are one of the most specialized
Bianco Brothers products. Bianco Brothers starts with the finest surgical
stainless steel and cobalt steel blanks, then hollow grind each, polish and hand
hone them to a razor sharpness.
There are approximately 20 different kinds of Excalibur
scissors in the blade collection, 30 types of surgical scissors and about
40 different types of Bianco Brothers nippers. Everything from
cuticle to bone cutting forceps, each with their exclusive hand honed edges.
The Bianco Brothers own two small factories in America. One
is the finishing plant where they manufacture all the Bianco Brothers
Instruments. The second is a complete woodworking and designing facility set up
for manufacturing and designing plastic, wood, and metal displays as well as a
research and design department for prototypes of all new items.
Bianco Brothers is the only company in the Instrument market
to offer different types of packaging for their products. (Retail packaging of
recycled plastic boxes or professionals soft plastic pouches). They do a large
private label business. You might be using one of their products and not even
know it.
So when your in need of fine quality instruments look for Bianco
Brothers, where "Made in the U.S.A." is not only a slogan, but
represents quality and value.
